We hiked up to Timpanogos Cave the week before school started. It was awesome. We got to go with Sundee and her kids and Kelton and Kody. I was very excited when Gramps said he wanted to go. My little Ellie walked the entire way to the top and back. She is a tough little girl. Of course, she had Katelyn to encourage her and they did an awesome job! Gramps is always so fun to be with because he knows so much and loves to tell his stories and share history with us. This is a truly priceless memory!

New to Blogging!
Here is my first attempt at blogging. This is something I have wanted to learn for a while and decided to just go for it and make it up as I go! So there is an explanation for what is to follow! :) We had some family pictures done a couple weeks ago up American Fork canyon. These are current pics of our family. Austin is in the 9th grade this year! He likes to play basketball and he is a great kid. He really loves to draw and has great talent. Alex is in 6th grade and is all girl! She loves to "get ready" in all forms - she even does my hair sometimes! Can you encourage your child to go to cosmetology school?? Bridger is in 2nd grade and is all boy!! He loves every sport and tells me that when he grows up he wants to collect pets (his mom won't go beyond having a fish) and he probably won't have a wife! Ellie runs the show at our house. She is going to be my trial. She is very intelligent and very strong-willed! She loves to read and play with her friends. Max is still an integral part of Vinyl Industries. He runs the show there and if nothing else I know they would be lost without him. I stay
busy with teaching at the gym and at home. My calling keeps me pretty busy adding meetings and activities throughout the week, but I love what I do so it is worth it!

Mexico Family Vacation
In April we went to Mexico for 10 days. It was awesome for us. Maybe a little long for the kids. They thought it was awesome that we had swans in our room made out of towels! Everything was fine and dandy until we figured out that we had no hot water! Our "landlord" let us use his golf cart to go to another property of his that was unoccupied to shower, where we encountered cockroaches that scared the kids - one ran up Max's arm - so they opted to shower in cold water for 4 da
ys until the boiler was fixed! In spite of all the misadventure, we had a great time. Here are some pictures of our trip.
We love Puerto Aventuras!
